About us
Scoring Room is an independent darts companion — not a replacement for a steel-tip board or a pub league official, but a calm place to track what matters: averages, checkouts, party legs, and the craft behind every throw.
Inside the app you get personal scoring, multiplayer party mode, technique lessons, culture archives, and deep stats with CSV export. Because your sessions stay on your device, your history stays entirely yours.
Scoring Room is not affiliated with the PDC, WDF, or any professional darts organisation. Champion profiles, calendar events, and bundled media are for reference and education only.
Privacy policy
Effective date: July 2026
Scoring Room does not require an account, sign-up, or login. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or precise location. We do not run analytics, advertising SDKs, or usage tracking. Your game sessions, party matches, drill progress, quiz answers, bookmarks, and settings are stored locally on your device.
Because we do not collect personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to sell, profile, or share. Every feature — scoring, stats, Academy, Vault browsing, widgets, and Live Activity — runs on-device using your local data.
Your content is saved in the app's private storage on your iPhone or iPad. Widgets and Live Activity read summary data through an App Group shared only between the main app and its widget extension on your device. There is no cloud sync and no remote backup operated by us.
The Vault may optionally fetch book metadata from Open Library and film/TV metadata from TMDB when you refresh content online. Wikipedia links open in Safari when you choose to read a champion profile. These requests go directly from your device to those services; we do not operate a backend that stores your queries. Bundled JSON fallbacks work fully offline.
Local data is protected by your device's operating system. Deleting the app removes associated on-device storage. You can reset all app data at any time from Settings inside the app.
Scoring Room does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not gather account data from any user.
You control your sessions, party history, drill progress, and bookmarks. Export session CSV files when you need a copy. Toggle appearance, haptics, and weekly goals in Settings at any time.
We may update this policy to reflect app improvements or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Our core commitment — local-first storage with no account tracking — will not change without clear notice.
